The Graphite Design shaft trimming information provided below was designed to give you the recommended installation for your GD shaft. Graphite Designed has designed our shafts to optimize performance in various golf heads. Each shaft's tip is designed to perform its best when installing according to our recommendations.
-- To increase stiffnesss you can trim the shaft a bit more or you can trim it less to soften it a bit.

• Graphite Design encourages consulting a PGA Professional or qualified club maker on selecting the best length shaft for your swing characteristics.
• Tip trimming is dependant on the bore depth and intended results. Tip trimming will increase frequency, tip stiffness and torque (amount of increase will vary depending on model)
• Always leave at least .5” of parallel tip section outside the hosel. For example: With a hosel depth of 1.5” and a parallel tip length of 4”, the trim should not exceed 2”.
• Improper installation may affect the intended performance of the shaft. Warranty is for material and workmanship of products. Improper installation voids warranty of product.
