The Tour AD EV shaft was developed using the Trackman state of the art launch monitor technology to ensure that the EV shaft would be a true performer. The EV shaft profiles are designed around a mid launch kick point with stiff butt sections, similar to many iron shaft designs being played by professional golfers. The result is a design that has shown a significant gain in distance by optimizing the decent angle of the golf ball.
